Germany and Afghanistan share a long history of positive bilateral relations. Founding the German Amani High School in Kabul already at the beginning of the Twenties of last century show the high degree of mutual interest both countries have developed for each other. Today, Germany is a second home for nearly 90.000 Afghans. After the Second World War relations intensified at all levels.
