Germany supports Anti-Corruption and Integrity training for the Ministry of Finance

The Deputy Director of the High Office of Oversight (HOO) Mr. Khuramji pointed out, that “the start of these training workshops is an important activity to implement the Anti-Corruption Strategic Plan 2011-2013. We highly appreciate the support of our capacity development activities by the German Government and our partner the GIZ”.

During the workshops the participants from different Ministries will learn about key aspects of the current Anti-Corruption Strategy and the legal framework of the Afghan Government. Further objectives of the trainings, that will take place the next six weeks in more than 10 Ministries and State Institutions in Kabul, is to develop a common understanding and definition of the main concepts of integrity management and anti-corruption activities.

The training activities are financed by the German Government, which is actively supporting, the Afghan Public Administration Reform Process.
